Our main achievements in past 3 years are:
Grahamstown festival 2005 & 2006, taking the shows Impressions and The Birth of Africa respectively, allowing our dancers to bond as a group, experience the magic that is the Grahamstown Festival, and make memories that we will take with us always.
- We represented SA & KwaZulu Natal at the World Trade Fair on Island of Reunion in 2005.
- Taken part in Bollywood shows and movies 2006 & 2007, in doing so the dancers gained priceless lessons in the discipline of traditional Indian dancing as well as their newer Bollywood style Hiphop, and were able to share their experiences with the rest of the studio.
- We have performed at Carnival City, Sibaya iZulu Theatre and Krakatoa, Sun Coast Casino at Durban Designers Fashion Show, Monsoon Lagoon in Jhb, and on Cruise Liners.
- We work with the Exclusive Dancers and Trevor Williams and The Chiz Boyz. We have performed at many corporate functions with these 2 groups and with Manormani Indian Acadamy of Dance, and with them, have performed at many international corporate functions at the ICC.

- This year we were asked to create a dance for the launch of the Elizabeth Sneddon Rose to pay tribute to Prof Sneddon at the Sneddon Theatre- The Everlasting Rose. This number required the girls to really ‘feel’ the number and dedicate their every movement to the memory of the Professor. The girls displayed emotion and a passion that they were complimented on for weeks, and made our studio extremely proud.
- Lil-lets traveled around Durban auditioning dancers for a TV ad. They chose 2 of our girls – Lorin Sookool and Natalie Walsh. They can be seen dancing behind Jae, our SA diva, in the Lil-lets maxi-pad advert. They have also performed at functions with Jae and her 2 male dancers, Clinton and Selwyn.
- The Chiz Boyz and the Exclusive Dancers along with some of our female dancers performed at the 20/20 Cricket.
- We have been asked to choreograph and provide dancers for another up and coming SA singer and a violinist.

- We hold an annual studio show in November at the DUT Courtyard Theatre.
- This year we gave our pupils the incredible experience of doing a three day workshop with Hazelle Kurig from Germany doing master classes in Tap and then later in the year, Gregg Alexander from Cape Town for master classes in Jazz.

All these performances and experiences simply feeds our love and passion for dance, and encourages an even greater respect in our dancers for all the disciplines. We find it so rewarding to see our dancers up on the professional stages, gaining more confidence and experience with every performance.
All those that have traveled through our studio, have felt embraced by the warmth of our studio, the dancers, teachers and parents. Each dancer is encouraged to compliment those around her and help others whenever s/he can, teaching them the invaluable lesson of team work. To allow for our members from all over the world to keep in touch, we have recently established a network on the very popular Facebook, where we can all keep in touch, post and more importantly comment on photographs, and keep everyone updated on our latest and upcoming events and achievements. |
